Dream: Flat Ball Frisbee Score

I was in a game much like a football match, but the ball was an ultra-flat large rubber playground ball, which we tossed more like a frisbee.  At first it was like a traditional ball; I was positioned in the midfield area; I was playing with Liverpool in what appeared to be the 1st team. The ball was first kicked out of the back by VVD. The ball went wayward and I wasn’t able to get to it as it seemed to go near the sideline, which had natural outdoor elements like a few trees.  The other team brought the ball under control, made a couple passes as they came into our half, and I sprinted to get back into a defensive position; I felt like I was a forward player, but didn’t want to allow any BS to cost us by conceding a goal.

Then I saw a player in a black jersey (which was curious because up until that point I thought it was red vs. blue), had the ball and was running toward our goal.  I think this black-jersey player was Japanese international, Minamino; he stopped, turned around, and we got some passes completed out of the back, through the middle, perhaps through Milner, and then to me. It was the flat frisbee at this point and all of this was now with the ball in-hand rather than at the feet.  I ran quick enough, was in a good position, then I was ‘in’ behind the defense. As I carried and ran with it, I wondered if I was breaking some kind of rule, like only so many steps without a pass, for example, but I guess everything was kosher.  I ran toward a big cylindrical, circular ‘goal’ which was oriented perpendicular to the endline, which was like a 3-ft slice of a 6 ft diameter tube, inside of a slightly larger similarly shaped piece, like concentric circles.  I approached it in a straight line, maybe with a bit of curve so I could open the angle to the opening; I was just feeling like this was essentially going to be a slam dunk, so I could only blow it by bricking it off the frame. So I focused and just threw it in. Score.
