I was on the phone with my mom about a plan to sell some physical silver. I was just walking outside through a park or neighborhood. As we spoke, suddenly I started hearing some crackling which I thought was either her or my phone’s connection being spotty. So I told my mom I’d call her back, basically to try to reset the connection, hopefully get a better one. So after we hung up I could still hear crackling, which was curious. Suddenly I was inside the back bedroom at my grandma’s house where she had twin beds separated by a nightstand with a clock-radio on the lower shelf. So I located the crackling sound, which was coming from the radio. I wasn’t sure if it was interference with the cell-signal or perhaps having some independent problem with the speaker or whatnot, but decided the best solution was to just give it a quick whack on the side. It worked. So then I got my mom back on the phone and told her to be patient as price might not go down immediately to an attractive buying opportunity. I was considering price might remain elevated perhaps into the holidays, so expected slow trade in general and perhaps a prolonged time where it was just drifting along without much happening.
