I was in an upstairs apartment looking down on the street level. It was evening or night time, and a bunch of people were down there. The focus suddenly was on the people down below becoming fearful that cops would be coming to raid them; I suspected that some of them may have been holding some drugs, perhaps, so they frantically tried to ditch the product before the cops showed up. Then I recall seeing my college fraternity brother, “Crazy” James down there as well, and he chucked a big plastic bag over a fence, which was filled with something dark and solid, but I’m not sure exactly what was inside. Then he came up into the apartment– maybe it was his place; he immediately started using a net with a handle to try to capture a big black and gold fish out of the tank in the living room. It was a large tank and a large fish, for a residential setup; I recall thinking the fish was quite pretty. I was confused why he suddenly thought this fish (and the one he had perhaps thrown out a moment prior) was a legal liability, something that might land him in jail for possession, etc, but that was just the mind he was in. He swept around the tank but couldn’t manage to capture the fish in the net, then left the net in the water with the handle resting on the top of the tank. The fish then just pecked at the fabric part of the net.
