Dream: Furniture Store High Dive

I went into a store where there was an opportunity for some unusual type of fun.  In this case, the thing to do was to get to an upper level and then jump down.  As I got there I found there was a line for this feature attraction, so it meant I’d have to wait my turn, much like a kid waiting for the high-dive at a public swimming pool.  I recall the store being somewhat like a warehouse, with a layout somewhat like a Home Depot or Costco, with tall racks and some areas with more floor space between aisles.  I may have seen some rolled up rugs, so maybe it was a furniture store, but I’m not sure about what else they had– all of that was peripheral to this bit of fun I was endeavoring to participate in.

So I got in line with just a few other people, a few women if I remember correctly, maybe one of whom was of east Asian ethnicity.  Then it became my turn.  I climbed a vertical ladder on the back wall– the wall itself was darkly colored.  I got up to a lofted section, and faced a door at the top of the ladder.  It swung open briefly and I saw a few women standing in a row so I assumed it was a lady’s bathroom.  I made a shift to the right which took me to a small terrace area, and there was a clear plexiglass wall that served as a type of half-wall so that the terrace had a bit of safety.  I got around that, then reached up to grab some structural elements overhead so I was hanging out over the room.  There was just a moment of consideration for not wanting to come down extremely close to the wall or ladder area, where people might be, so I instead wanted to get further out into the middle of the room.  So I swung out a bit more, then let go and came down without any drama.  I may have seen my high school buddy, Lenny, off to the side just before coming down.
